Shift: Third Shift, Full-Time, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m. Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour (+$2.00 per hour shift premium) $3,000 sign on bonus: $1,000 paid out at 30 days, $1,000 paid out at 90 days & $1,000 paid out at 180 days. $750 attendance bonus: $250 will be paid out at your 1st, 2nd & 3rd month for perfect attendance. Valtir is hiring 3rd shift production welders to support our Lima, OH manufacturing facility by applying appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints schematics and sketches using manual and/or semi-automatic welding equipment. Job Duties Include, but not limited to: • Performs flat fillet welds • Fits and welds simple assemblies • Accurately measures within specified tolerances • Reads blueprints • May operate automatic welding equipment (robotic welding) • Observes all standard safety practices and maintains and completes all required records • Follows all safety rules and practices • May be involved in safety committees or initiatives Working Environment: • Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy • The job is within a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant. • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes. • Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant.
