Position Type: Full Time and the ability to be on call to support our residents for emergencies Pay Range: $18-$20 per/hour, possibly more if HVAC Certified -- we believe in a culture of transparency. As our Maintenance Technician, you will provide high quality service to our residents, joining a team of outstanding team members with a commitment to excellence. You will hold yourself to a high set of standards, demonstrate a positive, service-minded demeanor, and successfully manage multiple shifting priorities. You will be responsible for the routine maintenance of the physical integrity of the community, including daily pickup of grounds, ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will be our go-to person to ensure our residents are taken care of in the event of an emergency. We are embracing technology in how we serve our communities. All of our Maintenance Technicians receive work orders on our Maintenance Mobile App. You will be provided a stipend for your use of your personal smartphone to stay connected with us and process through your work orders. Summary of responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all current and future residents.
  • Complete resident work orders on a timely basis (24 to 48-hour expectation)
  • Broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Assist with court-ordered “set-outs” when necessary
  • Perform unit turnover between residents per company standards (3-5 days)
  • Maintain grounds and curb appeal
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Be responsive to on-call emergencies
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have:
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • HVAC training and certification preferred
  • Commitment to regular attendance (may include weekend and OT hours)
  • Ability to be “on-call” for emergencies
  • Ability to receive, manage, and close work orders by using smartphone applications
