Career Exploration is for students who would like more information about career opportunities
Career Exploration is a program designed to enable a sophomore to earn enough credits to be accepted and enrolled in Apollo as a junior.
The program consists of:
- Career Exploration
- Employability/Personal Finance
- Academics: English Science
- Social Studies
- Math
Each student will be assigned to two clusters (five to six labs each) based on their Career Scope results. After 11 lab rotations students may spend the last rotation in their lab of choice or the lab in which they were accepted.
Students will spend time in five to six of these labs:
- Automotive Collision Technology
- Automotive Technology
- Building and Renovations
- Carpentry
- Computer Information Support
- Construction and Equipment Technology
- Cosmetology
- Culinary Arts
- Early Childhood Education
- Electrical Systems Technology
- Equipment Service and Automation
- Fire/EMS Technology
- Health Science
- HVAC
- Multimedia Technology
- Print and Graphics
- Robotics/CNC Technology
- Sports Fitness and Exercise Science
- Welding and Fabrication
To be eligible to participate in the Career Exploration program, you must have four credits.
