Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Team Member reports to their area Supervisor or Team Leader and is responsible for producing quality welds and working with fixturing in a safe, professional, and efficient manner.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain a safe working environment including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and compliance with all safety rules and established procedures.
• Follow requirements as called out on part and weld prints.
• Prepare parts / components for welding, including edge prep, preheating, and cleaning.
• Understand and follow established welding procedures.
• Understand operation and adjustments of various power sources and wire feeders.
• Tack welded components using existing fixtures.
• Build, repair, or modify fixtures for welded components as required.
• Perform inspections as required.
• Perform minor maintenance and replace consumables as required.
• Work with other team members and team leaders to maintain constant workflow.
• Work with 5S management team and other team members to develop, implement & maintain 5S process as needed.
• Provide a positive work environment and encourage team member communication.
• Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Welding Equipment & Processes.
• Ability to pass an AWS D1.1, D1.3 & D1.4 weld certification test.
• Knowledgeable of gages, hand tools or any other applicable equipment.
• Must be able to stand on concrete floor for the duration of work shift, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, bend to the floor, and use arms and hands
