We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced carpenter to provide a range of construction and renovation skills to restore residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by water, mold, fire, smoke, and other perils. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in carpentry and remodeling, be proficient in various carpentry techniques, and possess a keen eye for detail. Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced carpenter to provide a range of construction and renovation skills to restore residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by water, mold, fire, smoke, and other perils. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in carpentry and remodeling, be proficient in various carpentry techniques, and possess a keen eye for detail. Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- High School diploma/GED equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years of residential carpentry and remodeling experience
- Proficient and experienced in drywall, framing, installation of cabinetry, flooring, painting, light plumbing/electrical, and finish carpentry (interior trim & door packages)
- Complete understanding of the materials and installation aspects of kitchen/bathroom remodeling
- Able to pass a full criminal background check and drug screen
- Able to be on call for 1 week of each month to respond to emergency calls
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must own your own carpentry tools
- Must reside within a 30-mile radius of the Swartz office in Lima, OH

- Primarily responsible for completing residential & commercial reconstruction jobs and following the scope of work assigned by the Project Manager
- Execute skilled carpentry work related to structural repairs, including framing, flooring, and wall repairs.
- Perform precise trim and molding work, ensuring seamless integration with existing structures and fixtures
- Repair/Install doors, windows, and other fixtures with precision and detail
- Take accurate measurements and calculate the size/amount of material needed
- Perform assigned duties efficiently and effectively to produce quality work that consistently meets the company’s standards and expectations
- Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
- Interact with customers, maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and submit all necessary paperwork, photos, or required documentation
- Assist in mentoring and guiding less experienced team members
- Constantly position/re-position self to move about job sites, stairs, walkways, confined spaces, etc. Occasionally ascends and descends on a ladder
- Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 25% of the time (within a vehicle)
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 70 lbs. & occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to reach, kneel, crawl, and turn
