Job Description:
  • Perform all aspects of roadway maintenance.
    • This includes everything from asphalt/concrete work on the actual roadways to excavation projects and drainage repairs that take place within the road right of ways.
  • Maintain all township owned and operated cemeteries along with providing internment services.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and also within a group setting to complete daily tasks.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on multiple pieces of township owned equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications:
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS: • Valid Ohio Commercial Vehicle Operator’s License- CLASS B PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience in the operation of Backhoe, Excavator, Dump Truck and any construction related equipment used in the maintenance of roadway ditches and drainage infrastructure. • Previous Experience with finishing concrete and asphalt projects. • Operational experience with zero-turn mowers and weed trimmers used for lawn care maintenance within our cemeteries and township-maintained properties. • Mechanical Background with the ability to perform basic maintenance of trucks, heavy equipment, and small engines.
