Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour   Job description: Residential Carpenter – Burden Construction Co. (Lima, Ohio)   Location: Lima, OH and surrounding areas (within ~30 minutes)   Job Type: Full-Time   Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No nights or weekends)   About Us: Burden Construction Co. is a third-generation general contracting company serving Lima and the surrounding communities since 1947. We take pride in doing things the right way—for our clients and our employees.   Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Residential Carpenter to join our team. This role involves a wide range of carpentry work including framing, trim, remodeling, and general construction tasks. This is not a “stand around” position—we’re looking for someone who shows up ready to work, takes pride in their craft, and can operate both independently and as part of a team.   Responsibilities:

• Perform framing, siding, trim, and general carpentry work
• Assist with residential remodels and new home construction
• Read and interpret plans and layouts
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, and interior finishes
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Communicate effectively with team members and project managers
• Follow company standards for quality and efficiency

  Requirements:

• 3+ years of residential carpentry experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Basic hand tools required
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
