- Associate’s degree or higher in Quality, Manufacturing, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Training or certifications related to Quality Management Systems, HACCP, Metrology, or Continuous Improvement are a plus.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in plastics and/or food manufacturing.
- Experience leading or mentoring quality teams.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, food safety programs, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with calibration systems, metrology, laboratory testing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Proficiency with Excel, ERP systems, quality software, and technical reporting.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ability to work on the production floor in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Capable of conducting inspections, audits, and quality verification activities throughout the facility.
- Able to move between production, laboratory, warehouse, and office areas as needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Lead and supervise Quality Operators while promoting quality, safety, and food safety culture.
- Support certification audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance activities.
- Participate as a member of the HACCP team and execute food safety and food defense programs.
- Manage calibration schedules, equipment verification, metrology records, and compliance documentation.
- Train new employees on quality procedures, best practices, and operational standards.
- Oversee product inspections, raw material verification, testing activities, and product approvals.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor SPC data, analyze quality trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain quality records, procedures, and testing methods to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
