Interior Supply, Inc. is looking for a Non-CDL Driver for our Lima, OH, branch!

We are a Building Material Distributor. Our Products include Commercial doors, drywall, insulation, metal studs and framing, and acoustical ceiling tile among other interior construction products. We mainly specialize in commercial projects (think BIG), but supply specialty and residential jobs too (think small).  

Each of our 12 branches have their own specialized fleet of delivery trucks with outstanding teams that serve our clients and customers. We operate within 100 miles of our branch and our drivers and material handlers are home every night!

Our new Non-CDL driver is responsible for delivering materials in a non-commercial vehicle to different locations and construction job sites, including loading and unloading those materials by hand, cart, forklift, or crane. You will operate vehicles of 10,000 GVWR or more but not exceed 26,000 GVWR.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Perform pre-trip inspection including walking around truck for visuals and performing maintenance before equipment is used documenting inspection  


• Check all product loads before departure assuring product quantity and quality and work order requests match  


• Determine the most efficient and safest route before departure to make on-time delivery  


• Examine job sites for safety and operational hazards, discussing any obstacles with senior job site personnel  


• Get all proper signatures on paperwork after completion of delivery  


• Communicate with dispatcher before leaving job site for instruction on next assignment  


• Upon return to warehouse, reload for next delivery (same day or next morning)  


• Assist in helping with customer loading in warehouse yard when necessary  


• Assist warehouse personnel in putting away material and general warehouse and yard housekeeping  


• May be asked to assist in maintenance and upkeep of facility  


• Perform other duties as assigned
