We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of our medical professionals by accurately documenting patient encounters and maintaining comprehensive medical records. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as excellent typing and transcription skills.

Duties

• Accurately transcribe and document patient encounters in real-time during examinations and procedures.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure all relevant information is captured in the patient's medical documentation.
• Assist in the management of electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring all data is entered correctly.
• Provide support in the medical office by preparing charts and ensuring all necessary documentation is available for patient visits.
• Stay informed about medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance documentation accuracy.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve skills related to medical documentation and office systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy in transcription.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Experience or familiarity with medical documentation practices preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
