Job Description:
At NicKelly, Inc we strive to turn a homeowner's dream into reality. We focus on giving homeowner’s a beautiful outdoor living space where they can spend time and create timeless memories while performing all aspects of landscaping ranging from mulching to wonderful paver patios and overhead structures. We strive to provide all customers with professional service and maintain a lasting and positive relationship.
We are looking for a team member to help create a “Professional Quality from Start to Finish” in all aspects of NicKelly, Inc. We are extremely committed in helping our team members grow both personally and professionally as we want them to enjoy their experience with our company and find the same passion for our industry as we do.
What Winning looks like
• Being able to perform basic landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, trimming, pruning, shrub removal, mulching, etc.
• Being able to perform basic landscape design tasks such as planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, installing edging, landscape fabric, decorative stone and mulch
• Being willing to learn about our industry and all the services we offer our customers such as proper installs of paver patios, retaining wall, decks, fencing, landscape lighting, grading and seeding, drainage work, etc. and learning all our processes on how we complete each of our tasks for each of our services.
• Communicates proactively with their leaders, team members and customers of NicKelly, Inc.
• Maintaining all equipment and vehicles by keeping all the vehicles and equipment clean, organized, stocked and presentable on a daily bases
• Making sure all equipment and vehicles are being properly maintained such as air filters cleaned/replaced, fueled, greased, tire pressures checked, belts checked/replaced, etc.
• Keeping buildings organized, clean, and materials are stocked. Coming up with ways to make the buildings, organization of trucks and equipment more efficient for daily use.
Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s License
• Positive and constructive attitude
• A strong work ethic and pride in a job well done.
• Able to work with other team members to perform specific tasks at hand.
• Effective communication skills, able to understand and follow instructions.
• Reliability and commitment to completing assigned tasks.
• A love for working outdoors in all types of weather.
• Capable of hard/outdoor physical labor and the ability to lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to acquire additional certifications and training
• Willingness to learn how to operate any and all pieces of equipment
***Landscape maintenance or construction experience is preferred. However, work ethic and attitude can’t be taught and we will train the right individual the skills needed to be successful in this position!**
