Apprentice/Journeyman Welder

Nidec Minster Corporation is currently seeking a full-time Apprentice/Journeyman Welder to join the team.

Welder Job Responsibilities:

• The ability to read blueprints
• Layout, fit and assemble metal components
• Generate welds in the flat and horizontal position. ( A welding test will be part of the selection process)
• Proficiency in the areas of stick, MIG, and flux cored welding processes is desirable.
• Other duties include assembly operations, CNC plate burning, burn and bevel operation, material handling and miscellaneous equipment operation (saws, drills, shears and brakes

Welder Qualifications:

• High school Graduate or GED
• Hobart, JVS or other technical school graduate desirable
• Class II Certified AWS welder is desirable
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work in collaboration with others.
