Job Description:
Wellman Services is currently hiring HVAC Technicians. Pay: Dependent on experience. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Inspect clients current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety • Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment • Diagnosing HVAC systems with electrical and mechanical defects. • Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services • Maintain a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources • Participate in all technical training • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act • Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements • Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice. • Ability to work in confined space Qualifications: • Strong understanding of HVAC systems • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC challenges accordingly • Communication and intrapersonal skills, including customer service • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings • Familiarity with the intricacies of ductwork, furnaces, condensers • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversion Requirements: • 5 years of experience or more is preferred in both residential and commercial HVAC • Capable of completing assignments with little supervision • Valid Driver’s License Benefits: • Matched 401(k) • Health Benefits Available • Paid Holidays • Paid Time Off To Apply: Email [email protected] or [email protected] with “Wellman HVAC Tech” in the subject line or apply in-person at 200 E.
