Job Description:
STARTING DATE: ASAP based on Board of Education approval REPORTS TO: H.S. Principal SALARY RANGE:

$43,500 - $66,000, based on appropriate salary schedule, commensurate with education and experience

BENEFITS:

WORK WEEK/YEAR: 183-day school year calendar MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Current and active Ohio Board of Nursing Registered Nurse license with no restrictions or board actions
Possess, or able to obtain, an Ohio Career-Technical license in Diversified Health Occupations
Possess, or able to obtain within one year of appointment, a STNA/CNA Coordinator certificate (Bachelor of Arts degree preferred)
Appropriate work experience in the field of Health Sciences
Two years of nursing experience and one year of long-term care experience
CPR/First Aid Instructor
Positive role model for youth
Ability to pass BCI and FBI background checks
Demonstrated ability to plan for and teach students with varying cognitive and physical abilities
Effective communication skills
Possess, or able to obtain within one year of appointment, van driver certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop curriculum and teach health sciences to high school students with varying learning styles
Check in on students in advancement placement and apprenticeships
Work/assist with an advisory group
Be involved in the school improvement process and other duties as assigned
