Job Description:

Position Overview Floor Staff are the heart of the guest experience at the arcade. This role is responsible for keeping the floor running smoothly, assisting guests with games and attractions, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a fun and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the door.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Greet every guest with a friendly and energetic attitude
  • Assist guests with arcade games, token/card systems, and prize redemption
  • Guide first-time guests on how to play games and use attractions
  • Assist with VR room setup, orientation, and monitoring of sessions
  • Ensure guests of all ages feel welcome, safe, and entertained

Floor Operations

  • Monitor all games and attractions throughout the shift for proper functioning
  • Report malfunctioning equipment to management immediately
  • Restock ticket paper, tokens, and game cards as needed
  • Assist with resetting games and basic troubleshooting
  • Keep the prize counter organized and assist guests with redemptions

Food and Beverage Support

  • Assist with serving pizza, popcorn, and slushies as needed
  • Keep food and beverage stations clean, stocked, and presentable
  • Follow all food handling and safety guidelines

Cleanliness and Maintenance

  • Maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the entire facility
  • Wipe down games, surfaces, and seating areas regularly throughout the shift
  • Perform opening and closing cleaning duties as assigned
  • Dispose of trash and keep common areas tidy at all times

Events and Parties

  • Assist with birthday party setup, execution, and breakdown
  • Support group events and field trips as directed by management
  • Help coordinate VR room scheduling during busy periods
   
Qualifications:
  • No prior experience required, we will train the right person
  • Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality
  • Ability to work well with children and families
  • Comfortable standing and moving for the duration of a shift
  • Basic math skills for handling tokens, cards, and prizes
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to pass a background check
