About Washam Plumbing:   Washam Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning is now hiring an Equipment Operator with experience in plumbing and pipefitting. We would love for you to join a team where you can get what you give with hard work and dedication.   Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install plumbing systems, water supply lines, and gas lines as needed
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing lines, water supply lines, and gas lines
• Measure and cut various types of plumbing, water, and gas lines accurately
• Keep company work tools, vehicles, and equipment properly serviced, cleaned, and in good working order and condition
• Performs other related work as required
• Properly operate Excavators, Backhoes, Skid-Steer Loaders, Trenchers, and other heavy equipment as needed
• Work on a team by placing various sizes of pipe in and out of ditches
• Install underground sewer and water line service work on plumbing systems in residential and commercial environments
• Identify material needed to complete for new and existing projects
• Work with blueprints and job specifications as it applies to the job
• Ensure that piping is properly bedded and supported prior to backfilling

  Requirements:

• Experienced Equipment Operator (Minimum 2 years)
• Plumbing experience (Minimum of 2 years)
• Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications
• Experience working with hand tools and power tools
• Strong working knowledge of job site safety
• High standard of integrity and professionalism
• Valid Driver’s License
• Attention to detail
• Professional appearance and personality
