Job Description:
My Pandora, Ohio client is seeking an Engineering CAD Drafter for their team.  They are the leading manufacturer of warehouse storage systems and they offer a great work environment where associates are mentored and groomed to grow in their careers. This is a permanent position. Job Summary: The Engineering CAD Drafter provides support to engineers by preparing detail drawings, assembly drawings, routine layouts, analysis of assembly to confirm proper fit and function along with the creation of a project bill of material. They will report to the Engineering CAD Manager.   Duties/Responsibilities:

• Applies prescribed standard techniques and procedures in accordance with established criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment
• Performs routine technical work and exercises limited judgment on details of work
• Acquires an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities
• Records a written summary of data for all project responsibilities
• Prepares drawings and visual aids
• Create and maintains filing systems as assigned
• Prepares document deliverables
• Collaborate with Engineer in verifying total design meets customer need
• Performs other related duties as assigned

  Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to practical situations
• Proficient in ACAD, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Ability to work independently or in groups and is self-motivated
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

  Education and/or Experience:

• Associate’s degree in Computer Aided Sciences is recommended
• Two years of experience in AutoCAD drafting/design role is highly recommended
