Job Description:
Diagnosing problems and replacing vehicle engine parts, steering, transmissions and braking systems, vehicle lighting system Performing preventative maintenance on vehicles Adhering to vehicle inspection checklist Maintaining parts inventory Ensuring cleanliness/safety of garage Conducting monthly tire inspections Attending safety meetings and training Completing other work as assigned

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Ged, minimum, advanced knowledge of diesel engine components or post-secondary education in diesel technology preferred Valid driver's license with CDL Hazmat Tanker X endorsement or ability to obtain Aptitude for math Physically fit and able to lift up to 80-100 lbs Have own tools, steel-toed boots Detail oriented Good interpersonal skills with team and vendors Skilled in troubleshooting Skilled in time management Skilled in computerized diagnostic tools No fear of confined space/heights
