Job Description:
Diagnosing problems and replacing truck engine parts, steering, transmissions, braking systems, vehicle lighting system. Performing preventative maintenance on vehicles, test-driving vehicles Maintaining detailed vehicle service records Adhering to vehicle inspection checklist Maintaining parts inventory Ensuring cleanliness/safety of garage Conducting monthly tire inspections Attending safety meetings and training Completing other work as assigned

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license with CDL or ability to obtain Aptitude for math Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components or post-secondary education in diesel technology Physically fit and able to lift up to 80-100 lbs Have own tools & steel-toed boots Detail oriented, motivated Good interpersonal skills with team and vendors Good organizational skills Skilled in time management Skilled in troubleshooting Skilled with computerized diagnostic tools No fear of confined space or heights
