CNC MILL MACHINE OPERATORS Immediate Opening for VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL MACHINIST JOB DESCRIPTION: Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling including hydraulic press, borer or overhead crane. 1st shift: Monday- Thursday 6am-3:30pm; Friday 6am-10am 2nd shift (5% premium) Monday- Thursday 3:25pm - 1:25am Pay range $20-28 depending on experience    

Qualifications:
 Responsibilities / Qualifications / Duties:

• Set up, adjust, calibrate and operate CNC horizontal and vertical mills to machine part to print specifications. Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
• Quality: Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly, make adjustments as needed.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
• Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• Must be quality orientated with a high attention to detail and able to work with quality and manufacturing departments to define problems and implement improvements.
