The role Are you a skilled CNC Machinist with a passion for precision, problem-solving, and hands-on work? What You’ll Do As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC and manual machines, performing light fabrication, and ensuring tooling is maintained to the highest standards. What You’ll Do As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC and manual machines, performing light fabrication, and ensuring tooling is maintained to the highest standards. Your day-to-day will include: Machine Programming & Operation
- Program parts using Mastercam for CNC mills and lathes.
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machines with precision.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Operate grinders (surface and O.D.) and assist in tool selection.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and evaluate performance.
- Make decisions on tolerances and fits based on part functionality.
- Design and fabricate custom parts and inspection gauges.
- Reverse engineer and fabricate one-off parts as needed.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Create part prints and inspection techniques for new products.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Troubleshoot and repair broken parts and equipment.

What You Bring
- Experience with CNC programming and setup (Mastercam preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Prior toolmaking or mold making experience is a plus.
- Completion of a toolmaker apprenticeship is preferred.
- Forklift operation
- Lockout/Tagout
- Arc Flash safety
- First Aid/CPR
- Fire extinguisher use
- Hazardous communication
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable with prolonged standing and walking on concrete floors.
- Work with a collaborative and experienced team.
