Machinist/ CNC/Manual

Nidec Press & Automation is currently seeking Machinist/CNC/Manual for our Minster, Ohio location. Machinists for Nidec Minster will work in an engineered to order "job shop" environment where our products are made one at a time requiring many set ups and holding close tolerances.

Nidec Minster also has an Employee Education Center on site for employee training.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate machine tools such as mills, lathes, grinders and machining centers with multiple axes.
• Machine setup, tool setting, loading, and unloading fixtures.
• Inspection parts using precision measurement instruments (Mics, Calipers, Bore Gauges, etc.)
• Preventive maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Specialized training such as a JVS or tech school a plus
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings, work in close tolerances, with attention to detail
• Must be able to operate CNC and manual machining equipment
• Ability to edit CNC equipment a plus (Adjust feeds, speeds, etc.)
