Job Description:

We're looking for an experienced and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our gastroenterology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping patients complete medical screenings, educating patients for procedures and assisting in the delivery of care. This position requires a high level of medical knowledge, compassion and attention-to-detail. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Room Patients 


• Prior Authorization 


• Answering phones/scheduling appointments 


• Work in our satellite office in Sidney, Ohio 3 times per month. 


• Be compassionate to patients and their families. 


• Provide detailed medical information to patients in a timely manner. 

Job Type: Full-time 

Salary: From $17.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate: 

• Lima, OH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) 

Experience: 

• Medical office: 1 year (Required) 

License/Certification: 

• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) 


• RMA (Preferred)
