Job Description:
- Transporting individuals served by Marimor Industries, Inc. according to Transportation Rules and Regulations and Board Policy to and from day programming, community-based jobs and/or field trips.
- Prepare written reports of accidents and/or incidents, reports of mechanical problems, or other problems during the routes as required. Maintain records as required.
- Enforcement of rules of conduct during route.
- Preparation of vehicle for route-fueling, cleaning, etc.
- Daily inspection of vehicle, prior to and following routes, noting any problems on the daily checklist.
- Potential for driving box truck to pick up materials, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years of age. Successful completion of required orientation program. Valid Ohio Commercial Driver’s License and ability to be covered by Marimor insurance. Maintain appropriate certification/registration (including, but not limited to, CPR and First Aid). Satisfactory criminal background, Nurse Aid & Abuser Registry and Driving Abstract checks. Pass company required pre-employment drug test and DOT physical. Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs, support and move enrollees in a safe manner, according to in-service training. Subject to random drug and alcohol testing. Know the streets and areas of Allen County.
