Job Description:
Sodexo at Ohio Northern University is hiring Bus Driver’s. The Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Sodexo-owned or Sodexo operated buses and passenger vehicles in compliance with Ohio Revised Code (ORC), Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), and applicable Sodexo/Ohio Northern University policies. The position supports the transportation needs of students, employees, and authorized guests while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and public service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate buses and passenger vehicles in a safe, courteous, and lawful manner
• Transport passengers to approved on- and off-site destinations
• Conduct required vehicle inspections in accordance with regulations
• Maintain accurate logs and inspection documentation
• Respond appropriately to accidents, breakdowns, or emergencies
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues
• Follow all safety rules, traffic laws, and Sodexo/Ohio Northern University policies .
• Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:
Licenses, Certifications, and Endorsements

• Valid Ohio CDL, Class B or higher
• Passenger (P) Endorsement
• Valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• High School Diploma
• Driving record meeting Sodexo and Ohio Northern University insurance requirements

Base Salary: $27.00-$31.00/Hour
