What You'll Do: As a CDL-A Driver, you'll safely transport freight while ensuring exceptional service for our customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely deliver and pick up freight at customer locations
  • Operate tractor-trailer equipment in accordance with all DOT and company regulations
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
  • Plan and manage efficient delivery routes
  • Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and required documentation
  • Utilize electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation technology systems
  • Complete and submit Bills of Lading (BOLs) and related paperwork
  • Communicate delays, equipment issues, weather concerns, and other transportation-related updates
  • Maintain clean, professional, and road-ready equipment
  • Assist with forklift operations when needed
  • Represent Ohio Logistics with professionalism and excellent customer service

Qualifications

Required:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
  • Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to meet DOT medical requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Understanding of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), inspections, and vehicle safety requirements
Preferred:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Forklift experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating commercial vehicles
  • Ability to bend, reach, climb, kneel, twist, push, and pull as needed
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Must meet all physical qualifications required to maintain a valid CDL

Work Environment

This position involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions and may require operating around heavy equipment, machinery, and active transportation environments.
