Job Description:

Supervise and perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment
Oversee custodial staff, including task delegation
Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and inspections
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical issues
Manage maintenance requests in a timely manner
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized services and projects
Monitor building safety, security, and compliance with local codes and regulations
Oversee & perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and grounds upkeep
Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment
Assist with event setup/teardown for school and parish activities
Respond to emergencies or after-hours maintenance needs as necessary

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade certification preferred
3–5+ years of facilities or property maintenance experience
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor as needed
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license
Background check and safe environment compliance required
Appreciation for and willingness to support the mission of a Catholic school and parish
