Job Description: Production Tech    Supervised by: Production Manager             5.11.2025 Basic Purpose of Position: Production Tech’s support the Production department in maintaining the production schedule; Working as a team in a fast-paced environment to build/package products and unload containers according to the Production schedule. Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Metrics:

• Follow Production Scheduling System
• Insert Packaging Card into Parts as described.
• Box pans in a master (carton) for shipping
• Follow “How To’s” and Computer Build Notes to properly package, box, and build product pallets.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Accomplish per build goal times.
• Use a tape machine, tape gun, and utility knife.
• Replenish parts on the Production line.
• Work as a team member to accomplish producing quality products with integrity & excellence.
• Display drive and accountability to deliver department results.
• Must listen to and follow instructions from Line Leader
• Key Metrics: Producing products to meet or exceed scheduled rates outlined by Schedule and Attendance without unplanned absences.

KPIs

1. Meeting/Beating Production Goals per Line.
2. 100% Attendance
3. Proper use of How To’s.

 Essential Education and Skills Needed: Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma. Must be computer literate and must speak, read, and write the English language fluently.   Typical Physical Tasks:

·         Able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds

·         Able to stand regularly for extended periods.

·         Able to move on concrete, occasionally in tight spaces.

·         Able to bend at the waist, frequently, greater than a thirty-five-degree angle,
