Job Description: ABC 123 Enrichment Center is seeking a Cook to join our team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing morning snacks and lunch for children, adhering to USDA/CACFP guidelines to ensure nutritious meals are provided. This position requires following monthly menus and USDA recipes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness according to weekly and monthly schedules, and ensuring a positive attitude towards children. Duties:

• Prepare morning snacks and lunch following USDA/CACFP guidelines.
• Follow monthly menus and USDA recipes for meal preparation.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness according to weekly and monthly schedules.
• Ensure cookware, stove, and kitchen floor are clean and items are safely stored at the end of the shift.
• Use paper products (utensils, plates, bowls, cups) to simplify cleaning processes.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Clear background check including fingerprinting prior to hire.
• Positive attitude towards children.
• 1 or more years of related food preparation experience required

Shift:

• Monday to Friday, with Federal Holidays off.
• Hours: 9:45am to 12:00pm.
• AM snacks served at 10:00am, lunch served at 12:00pm.

Pay:

• $11.00 to $12.00 per hour
