Yearly Timeline:

• Starts the same day as Apollo Seniors in late August
• Will work/learn the entire day at the host site; Mercy Health
• Transportation provided from your home school to Apollo and then transported to Mercy Health
• Employment Planning Meetings are completed two times an internship to check on skills building and growth
• Interns have a week between each internhip rotation for leadership week. The interns work together in the meeting room and complete mock interview skills, skills building, team work and organizational policies
• If the intern is ready for job development and the team agrees, the intern will start job development starting either late in their 2nd internship to early 3rd internship
• If an intern is offered a job and accepts the position, they will exit the program and close out of educational services and the IEP will close
• Interns are expected to attend graduation in May even if they are employed and have left the program
• The Project SEARCH calendar follows the Apollo Career Center calendar for holidays, weather delays, and closings. There are items on the Project SEARCH calendar that Apollo does not participate in and there are events that Project SEARCH will not participate in at Apollo.
