This information is about events coming up to help you in your planning. Please note there are some requirements for Senior Honors Night (Graduation) that you must do in order to be able to participate.
Senior Honors Night Information:
Who: All Seniors that have successfully completed their CTE programs at Apollo Career Center as defined in the Student Handbook on pages 19-20 and have not been excluded for disciplinary reasons.
What: Senior Honors Night (Apollo’s version of graduation)
When: Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 6:00 pm
Where: Elida Fieldhouse (101 E North St., Elida, OH 45807)
What to Wear: Home School Cap and Gown with school appropriate attire underneath
- Can I decorate my cap? Only Allen East and Perry confirmed you may do so as long as it is flat & school appropriate.
- Can I wear Honor Cords earned at Apollo?
- Honor Cords must be school issued only (Associate District and Apollo Career Center).
- The only Apollo honor cord you are allowed to wear at your home school graduation is the NTHS honor cord (even then you may not be permitted if the cord is not recognized by the district).
- Apollo Career Center reserves the right to limit the number of honor cords to preserve the honor, integrity, and formality of our Senior Honors Night. Excessiveness and inappropriateness will not be tolerated.
Seating: Guests must have tickets (6 given at practice per student). Students will be lined up alphabetically by program. You must stay in that order.
Requirements:
- Have all unpaid balances paid (lunch, books, calculators, etc.)
- Attend Practice
- Practice will be held at Elida Fieldhouse at 12:00 pm (please arrive by 11:45 am). Students do not report to Apollo Career Center. You will report directly to Elida. Once practice is complete, you will leave Elida and do not have to return until 5:15 pm. Please have transportation arranged. End time of practice is ASAP. If everyone is on time and attentive, we can be quick.
When do I stop attending Apollo Career Center?
Answer: Whichever happens first: Official graduation at your home school or Senior Honors Night. No exceptions. Your official last day at Apollo is May 21, 2025 except for those who graduated before that date.

- April 30, 2025 National Technical Honor Society Ceremony – 7:00 pm (invite only)
- May 2, 2025 Senior Breakfast and Meeting – 8:15 am (report to 1st period, wait for announcement)
- May 3, 2025 Apollo Prom – 8:00 – 11:00 pm
- May 6, 2025 Ohio Means Jobs Career Fair at UNOH
- May 7, 2025 Signing Day – Time Slots
- May 8, 2025 Student Awards Luncheon – 10:30 am (Invite Only)
- May 21, 2025 Senior Honors Night Practice – 12:00 pm @ Elida Fieldhouse (Required to walk)
- May 21, 2025 Senior Honors Night
- Students Report at 5:15 pm at Elida Fieldhouse
- Doors open at 5:15 pm (guests must have tickets)
- Event starts at 6:00 pm
- Fall 2025 Student Follow-ups (You will receive a call or email from your instructor)
