Become a licensed cosmetologist and join the workforce directly after high school

Completion of the cosmetology program allows students to be a licensed cosmetologist by the time they graduate high school. This opportunity propels students into the workforce right away or gives them a chance to work and make a living as they continue their post-secondary education.

The program teaches students professional hair cutting, styling and coloring, facial and nail treatments, make-up techniques, and more during their time in the program. During their senior year, Apollo cosmetology students begin patron service in their very own salon on campus and are prepared to take the state test in the spring! This hands-on experience enables students to practice as a licensed cosmetologist after high school, work as a make-up artist, or even one day own or manage their own salon.
