Valtir is hiring a 2rd shift Maintenance Technician to support our Galvanizing department. The role requires a knowledgeable technician in overhead cranes, furnaces, heating systems, and pumps to successfully support the plant and maintaining the day-by-day tasks dedicated to deploy the safety, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement, initiatives. Qualifications:
- Sophisticated knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics with the ability to use this knowledge to install, maintain, and repair plant equipment
- Experience with repairs on Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Mechanical equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to operate various electric, pneumatic, and other hand tools
- Ability to work at high heights
- Ability to become certified for the following: NFPA70E, fall protection, confined space
- Must be able to work individually and as part of a team.
- Reliable and predictable attendance
