Job Description:

Treating our 130+ employees and our customers “as we would like to be treated” is at the core of our success.   Wells Brothers Inc. is currently hiring an experienced Supervisor/Estimator in our Construction Division to join our growing team. To be successful in this role, you need to be self-motivated, team orientated, punctual, have a high level of integrity, and have the ability and willingness to learn.   Essential Duties The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Team Management: Demonstrate and support Walk in Truth behaviors of Trust-Respect-Understand-Teach-Honesty. Schedule, manage and control day-to-day activities with your assigned projects and field technicians. Manage and maintain a positive working relationship with peers, field technicians, customers, management, etc.
  • Training and Development: Support company training programs by assisting the training coordinator.
  • Project Coordination: Respond to all customer requests in a professional and prompt manner. Support projects being led by other supervisors or managers in all divisions. Prepare and process estimates, quotations and billings for potential new projects/jobs. Support field technicians with job site visits, project concerns, quality control, etc. Provide immediate feedback to Construction Division Manager on project concerns, personnel, safety, schedule, budget, field technicians, billing, etc.
  • Safety Compliance: Must enforce safety at all times.
  • Performance Monitoring: Responsible for completing field technician evaluations.
  These duties require a combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of project management and cost estimation.
Qualifications:
Experience and Requirements Must have strong experience with Project Management, Quality, Supervision, Managing Profitability, Supply/Material Management, and Estimating.  Must possess strong attention to detail.  Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands (sometimes conflicting and/or challenging) of internal and external customers.  Must be able to sit and /or stand for long periods of time. Must be unafraid of heights. Required Skills:
  • Valid State issued Driver’s License – Class A CDL preferred
  • Excellent Attendance
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Proficient Computer Skills (Excel, Outlook and Word)
  • Project Supervision experience
  • Project Estimating experience
  • Thorough knowledge of construction, concrete, and equipment operation.
