Career Camp 2022

Career Camp is two days full of hands-on, high-tech career exploration for incoming 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Career Camp will be held June 7-8 from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM.

Cost is $30 which  includes lunch both days, a T-shirt, and a make-and-take project.

 

Technical Areas Offered (OTHERS HAVE BEEN FILLED):
Participants will need to pick two technical areas on the Career Camp registration form. Students will be placed in their first choice, unless full, and will then be placed in their second choice. 

BE A HERO | Learn what to do when someone is hurt, there is an emergency, or maybe you want to be a firefighter! Campers will gain hands-on experience with basic firefighting and EMS skills as well as fire safety tips for home. Experience the fire training tower and learn about this exciting, in-demand career. (Fire/EMS Technology)

SPORTS FITNESS AND STRENGTH TRAINING | If you are interested in sports, weight lifting, health and you like to move, this camp will give you a ton of information on how to be physically fit while learning about first aid for bones, joints, sports and life. (Sports Fitness and Exercise Science)

TECHNOLOGY IN MEDICINE | Anatomy & Physiology of the human body, virtual autopsy, Glo-Germ, work with Patient Simulators, CPR/First Aid and ton more! (Health Science)
